Three arrested with indigenous pistols, Mini Gun Factory Found in Jharkhand 

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, the mini gun factory in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district has been detected. Police have also arrested three criminals with arms. Besides the indigenous pistols, two live cartridges and fire making tools have been recovered from the criminals. The case belongs to the Ranka block of Garhwa district.

The names of arrested criminals are Mahtab Alam Ansari (20), Mozahid Ansari (20) and Janeshwar Vishwakarma. Alam and Mozahid are residents of Garhwa police station’s Farthiya and Janeshwar from Rampur village of Majhiyawan police station.

Ranka’s SDPO Manoj Kumar Mahto said that the police superintendent had received secret information that some criminals were coming to sell arms for the purpose of spreading disorder in the elections.

SDPO has constituted a team for their arrest. The team laid a trap in the vegetable market and arrested two criminals Mahtab Alam Ansari and Mozahid Ansari. During the search, a desi katta and a mobile phone were recovered from Mahtab near two country katta, two live cartridges, one mobile and one Mozahid.

In the interrogation, both the criminals said that Janeshwar Vishwakarma of Rampur, a resident of Majhiyawan police station, has brought arms to sell here. Both said that Janeshwar Vishwakarma makes weapons in his house and spends it in the market. Police reached Rampur village at Janeshwar Vishwakarma’s house on his notice. Three types of fireworks and heavy equipment like fireworks, rats, sand, hexade blade, hammer, chisel, semi-constructed trigger guard, iron fan, were recovered by the police from the home of Janeshwar’s house. Janeshwar Vishwakarma was arrested.

The SDPO said that the three criminals have gone to jail in Arms Act in Garhwa, Chinia, Majhiyawan police station. SDPO said that a gang smuggling arms is active. Even before the arrests have been made with arms. Inspector Ashok Kumar Singh, Ranka police station in-charge Jitendra Kumar, Majhiyawan station officer in charge Vinay Kumar, SI Chintaman Raskar were present on the occasion.
