In view of the corona virus infection, this time on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, the Shiva procession will not be taken out in the Pahari Mandir Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Shiva–Parvati Jayamala ceremony will be organized in its place. At the same time, there will be Baba Bholenath’s Maharaadabhishek and Shringar in Ratu Road.
Due to Corona virus infection, the Mahasamiti organizing the Pahari Mandir Shri Shiva procession has decided not to leave Shiva procession this time. Every year on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, a large crowd of devotees throngs the Shiva procession, but this year Shiva will not be seen coming out of the procession. However, Shiva-Parvati Jayamala celebrations, Mahaudrabhisheka and Shringar will be organized.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate Shiva-Parvati Jayamala celebrations and other programs. Shri Soren will start this program by worshiping and performing the form of Shiva and Parvati. After this, the program of Bhajan Sandhya will begin.
On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the Shiva-Parvati Jayamala ceremony will be held from 6 pm on Thursday, while the Panchdev Mandir of Aryapuri Staff Quarter on Ratu Road will have Mahaudrabhishek and Shringar from 5 am onwards. In this regard, Deepak Lal, the chief convener of the hill temple Shri Shiv Barat organizing event and representative of former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai said that the safety of the devotees is the first priority in view of the corona. For this reason, this time it was decided not to carry out Shiva procession.
