For the first time in the International Film Festival held in Jharkhand, 20 people including Mahesh Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Imtiaz Ali will be honored. The award of the Milestone of Jharkhand Film Policy will be given to renowned producer-director Mahesh Bhatt at the closing ceremony of the film fest at Khelgaon, Ranchi on Sunday. Priyanka Chopra will be honored with the Sridevi Excellence Award and Imtiaz Ali’s Jharkhand Ratna of Indian Film Industry. During her stay at Big Boss-10 house, Sapna Chaudhary of Haryana, who is also influenced by Salman Khan, will be honored with the Ashok Chopra Award for her dance style.

Bollywood Hungama journalist Faridun Shaharyar will be given the Excellence in Landmark Journalism Award. Manisha Koirala will be conferred Albert Ekka Bravo award, Mother Chinna Mastika’s director Shekhar Shrivastav will receive the Best Spiritual Research Short Film Award. Rajkumar Gupta will be given Jharkhand Folk, Promotion Award for Jharkhand Gaurav Samman and Karan Singh Arora to Pride of Jharkhand and Pankaj Soni. Vijay Raj, who has performed best in Lohardaga in the category of feature films, has been selected for the Best Supporting Actor Special Jury Award. At the same time, Akhilendra Mishra will be given Special Critique Award for Best Supporting Actor for Beloo Ustad.

Sarvadman Shahdev, who works in the Hindi filmLohardaga‘, will be conferred the Special Critical Mention Award for Best Debut Actor. Prabhakar Sharan will be given the award of Hero of the Year in Costa Rika. He will be given the award for his film Jharkhand Kar Chhau, Costa Rika. Director of Love, Modi’s Spanish film Enredados la Confusion will be given the Best Art Film of the Year (Panchlet) award.

Producer Shekhar Sirin’s film Chicken Curry Law has been selected for the Best International Film Award. Poland’s Natalie Jainaseck, the actress of this film, will be awarded the Best International Actress Award. Sujad Iqbal Khan, the Hindi film ‘Lou‘, has been selected for the Women Empowerment Award for the Feature Film. Harshit Rajawat will be given the Best Child Artist Award, then director Gautam Singh will receive the Special Critics Award for the film “Village” in Hindi, English and Khortha.

This information was given by issuing a release by Rishi Prakash Mishra, Chairman of the organizing committee of Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards. He told that many big artists are coming on Sunday. It includes Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Ramesh Sippy, Udit Narayan, Saundariya Sharma, Rajpal Yadav and Shilpa Rao. Mr. Mishra has appealed to students interested in film making that they come to the workshop of Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Juneja and Rajkumar Gupta at the Kala Bhavan Auditorium and pick up their future with tips from film making at 2 pm.
