The people of Jharkhand have to celebrate Holi in their homes. There will be a ban on celebrating Holi in public places. In view of the increasing infection of Corona in the state, the Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department released a new guideline on Friday.
According to this guideline, the state government has banned celebrating Holi, Sarhul, Shab-e-Barat, Ram Navami and Easter in public places in Jharkhand. The procession of Sarhul and Ramnavmi will also not come out. All types of processions have been banned.
The state government has said in the guideline that the candidates have been given exemption to take the examination. Only their admit card will be considered a pass. It will be compulsory to follow the guidelines issued by the central government earlier regarding Corona.
The Health Secretary has written a letter to all the DCs to take special precautions regarding the festivals. Have asked to check the corona at the bus stand, airport and station.
- Maintain special distancing maintenance in crowded places, especially in markets.
- Mandatory screening in tourist places, cultural, religious, public events.
- Work on a strategy of test, trace, treatment to prevent corona infection.
- Strict adherence to No Mask No Entry. Place thermal scanner, hand wash and sanitizer in the entrance and exit areas of all commercial establishments.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that people should avoid Holi meeting. We have a keen eye on the situation in Corona. If circumstances change from time to time, the government will take appropriate decisions. I appeal to people to celebrate Holi in their homes with family.
