Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the matriculation results on Tuesday at 4 o’clock. JAC President Arvind Prasad Singh released the result. He told in the press conference that this time 4 lakh 28 thousand 389 students joined the examination. In which 2 lakh 54 thousand 830 students have succeeded. This time 59.48 percent students have been successful.
The result has come down compared to last year. According to the list released by JAC, Hazaribagh district remained the first in the state. 74% students of Hazaribagh district were successful, whereas 72% students of Ranchi district were successful. The performance of Latehar district was the worst. 38 percent students of Latehar district got the success.
As per the figures released by JAC, the students of Hazaribagh district have waved at the top. 74.75 per cent of students in Hazaribagh district were successful in the matriculation examination and this district remained the best in the state. Ranchi district remained second, 72% students of Ranchi district were successful 68.22 percent students of East Singhbhum, 66.92 percent students of Khunti district, 64.01 percent students of Sahibganj district, 63.15 percent students of Giridih district, 61.89 percent students of Dhanbad district, 61.73 percent students of Ramgarh district, 61.31 percent students of Dumka district, Palamu 61.18 percent students of the district, 60.70 percent students of Deoghar district, 59.88 percent students in Koderma district, 57.55 percent students of Seraikela district, 56.62 percent students of Gumla district, West Singhbhum district 56.05 per cent students, 54.05 per cent students of Simdega, 53.14 per cent students of Bokaro district, 52.41 per cent students in Lohardaga district, 52.11 per cent students of Jamtara district, 50.67 per cent students in Godda district, 49.93 per cent students of Pakur district, Chatra district 42.59 per cent students, 40.21 per cent students of Garhwa district and 38.19 per cent students of Latehar district were successful.
It is to be known that this year 4.31 lakh (four lakh 31 thousand) students had passed matriculation examination. The examinations began on 8th March. The evaluation of answer sheets started on May 2, 2018. JAC President Dr Arvind Singh said that the results of the inter-caste will be released a few days later.
