1 Cup kacha (raw) futkal
2 Green chillies
1 Red dried (sukha) chilli
Salt (as per your taste)
1/2 tsp raw mustard oil
3-4 Garlic cloves
Step 2: Roast tomatoes and red chilli over an open flame until the outer skin turns black and smoky. Peel off the skin of tomatoes when it cools down and keep aside.
Step 3: Crush garlic cloves, green chillies, red chilli in silvata/mortar and pestle (or roughly chop them and crush with your hand).
Step 4: Now add soft boiled fukal leaves, roasted tomatoes, mustard oil and salt as per taste and mash them together until the consistency becomes slightly smooth like chutney. The futkal chutney is ready to serve. This futkal chutney is best when paired with chhilka roti.
