There is news of a massive fire in the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi located in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information, the fire started in the temple premises, from where Mata’s cave is located only 100 meters away. The flames were visible from afar.

Fire wing personnel are engaged in extinguishing the fire. High flames of fire are being seen till Bhairon valley. The natural cave is very close to where the fire started. On the information of the officers of the Shrine Board, the fire wing personnel of the board reached and started controlling the fire. The fire has been extinguished to a large extent.
The CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board said that the fire has been brought under control and the situation is now under control. Relief and rescue work is going on at the spot. There is no report of any casualty so far.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but it is suspected that the fire may have started due to short circuit. Since there are restrictions due to corona in the temple premises, there has been no major accident.
