In Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, Corona transformed the happiness of two families into mourning. Eight days after the wedding, the groom died of corona and within a moment the happiness of marriage turned into mourning at the bride and groom’s house. The mehndi of the bride’s hands was not even properly hidden that Corona made her honeymoon desolate. The deceased was Anil Kumar, son of Krishna Mahato, a resident of Hutpa in Mufassil police station area of Hazaribagh district. There were signs of corona before marriage, but it was ignored and married with pomp. The family members are in a very bad condition due to this incident.
Krishna Mahato, a resident of Hutpa in Mufassil police station area of Hazaribagh district, married his son Anil Kumar on 28 April 2021, with great pomp, to the daughter of Kansi Mahato, a resident of Jhurpo, Titizhria. According to the villagers, two days before the wedding, the groom had mild fever and cold. Ignoring this, the family was busy preparing for the marriage and people from both sides joined the marriage with great pomp. After the marriage, the groom’s health started deteriorating. On 4 May, when he started having trouble in breathing, he was hurriedly admitted to the medical college, where he died on Wednesday night.
The deceased was the eldest son of the house. On Thursday, the body was brought from the ambulance to the Hutpa crematorium and the last rites were performed. As soon as the information was received, weeds were in his house. Family members are in a weeping state. The worst case is that of a new fledgling bride. According to the villagers, the corona would not have been overlooked, so it would not have come today.
