Ajam Emba – reviving indigenous food in India

Ajam Emba is a slow food eatery and training center serving Adivasi (indigenous) food, promoting indigenous entrepreneurs and organic farmers.

Ajam Emba in Kurukh language (spoken by Oraon communities) means great taste and is also the name of my mission to revive and revitalize indigenous (Adivasi) food and cuisine as an integral part of our culture and a healthy alternative for the society in general. It is a slow food indigenous eatery and training center catering to the aforesaid mission. We focus on bringing in the authentic Adivasi/ Jharkhandi food, promote indigenous entrepreneurship and ensure remunerative benefits to indigenous organic farmers.
