Vaccination has been broken in Jharkhand. Vaccination of the age group of 18 to 44 years in the state will stop once again due to lack of vaccines. In large districts like Deoghar, Dhanbad, the vaccine for this age group has expired on Friday. At the same time, some districts will be finished by Saturday.
The state’s vaccination in-charge, A. Dode, said that in Jharkhand, there are only 80,000 vaccines left for 18+ age group. In the month of May, only about 5.5 lakh vaccines were allotted to Jharkhand. Now the vaccine consignment of this age group will come in June. In June also only 5 lakh vaccines have been allotted.
A. Dode said that vaccines were not being made available to people from 18 to 44 age groups from the companies making the vaccine and from the central government. Due to this, the vaccination program of the people of this age group is slowing down. A. Dode said that it is the responsibility of the government to buy vaccines for those in this age group, but which state will have how many vaccines allotted, it is decided by the central government.
